I've been sent a few new beauty products to try out over the last month, so I thought I'd round them all up today and give you my thoughts!

Chanel 'Rouge Allure' colour & shine lip gloss. I'm a member of the People StyleWatch Style Hunters network and I was unexpectedly sent a full size of this brand new Chanel lip gloss, which was a nice surprise! The gloss I received was #18 'Seduction', which is a bright fuchsia color that I've received lots of compliments on. It's easy to apply and really fun to open - you click the bottom of the gloss and the wand pops out with a boing! The color is really saturated so it looks like a shiny lipstick instead of a gloss. It's been one of my go-to lip colors on nights out, so I highly recommend it! It retails for $34.

Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush. I have never used a cleansing face brush before, so when Klout said they were sending me this $89 Clinique one to try as a perk, I was thrilled! I've been using it for almost a month now with my regular Skinceuticals face wash, and I definitely see a difference in my skin. It's been helping to get rid of any dry/flaky skin I have during the winter, which leaves my face smoother and more radiant. I can also tell that it really does purify my skin because I find it's bringing a lot up to the surface, meaning I have more blackheads and even a whitehead here and there, which is pretty rare for me. I typically only get cystic pimples, but it doesn't seem to be causing any of those, which is good! I like that's getting all of the gross crap {pardon my French} out of my skin, but it makes it hard for me not to want to squeeze at the blemishes which has been leaving more red marks than I usually have. I'm going to keep using it and see how I like it - I think it may take more than a month for me to fully see the benefits!

Lashem 'Colour Strokes' tinted brow gel. I received a full size sample of this brow gel from BrandBacker in the blonde color. I had previously tried a light brown color from Anastasia on my brows and felt it was too dark for me, so the blonde worked perfectly, especially since I recently had lighter highlights put in my hair. The gel goes on pretty easily although the wand is a bit wide for my skinny brows, so sometimes I have to use a q-tip to take the excess off from the skin underneath them. I like that it fills in my brows with a natural looking color and that it holds them in place, but I find that the gel can get a bit clumpy inside the tube which means I have to clean the brush off pretty frequently. Lashem also carries this gel in brunette and raven, and while it retails for $20, Cupcakes & Couture readers can take 30% off their purchases with the code BROW30BB!

Herbal Essences 'Naked' Dry Shampoo. This was another Klout perk I was sent, and it arrived in the nick of time because I had just run out of my Not Your Mother's dry shampoo spray! Since I don't wash my hair every day, I really can't live without dry shampoo, and I've been experimenting with a few brands over the last year. I have to be honest: I've never been a huge fan of Herbal Essences before...I've tried out some of their products and never really liked them. But, I am in love with their new "naked" dry shampoo spray! It sprays on easily, smells nice and clean, and makes my dirty roots look clean and volumized at the same time. It also seems to be lasting longer than the NYM spray I had been using, which means I can save money and not need to buy a new bottle so often. I think I might make the official switch to this dry shampoo spray when I run out!

all of these products were received free of charge, but the reviews are 100% honest and my own.
