Ikea + Form Us With Love = JANINGE

IKEA has just launched a new chair called JANINGE. It’s made from polypropylene plastic and comes in 3 colour ways.

It’s a sleek, modern design courtesy of Swedish design studio From Us With Love who are responsible for several designs for the likes of Muuto & Design House Stockholm.

According to Jonas Pettersson of Form Us With Love:

“JANINGE are chairs that works equally well around a dining table in the home as a restaurant. The chairs are sleek, extremely durable and we have put a lot of care that they’ll look good from every angle – even from below. If I summarize JANINGE it’s chairs made ​​to last long. They are durable even for the eye.”

I love that Ikea continues to bring out new and unique products that aren’t just copies or replicas but use their buying power to bring great orginal designs to everyday consumers.
