Meet the newest member of our family, Kennedy Mei!
No later than 30 minutes after jokingly posting that our little lady didn't seem like she would be making an appearance on her due date, she decided to kick things into gear and I started having regular contractions soon afterwards, Kennedy was born one day later on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 10:15 pm and measured 19" long and weighed 6 lbs, 13 oz. She has been stealing our hearts every minute.

It's incredible the memories that I have from the past couple of days. From meeting and holding Kennedy and learning all of her little sounds, to seeing Adrian give her Eskimo kisses and rock her to sleep, to the tender way that Dylan strokes Kennedy's cheeks and hair whenever he sees her, my heart is literally bursting with love over here. Motherhood is really something else and I'm so privileged to experience it all over again with our sweetest baby girl.
Thank you everyone for all of your support on social media (you have no idea how much it means to me) and I hope to have a full birth story up next week once I get the details back from my doula (all those hours are a blur to me already). We're finally back home today and slowly adjusting to a new normal around here. I can't wait to share more soon but in the meantime keep up with me over on Instagram!
