Let’s go be Adventurers

I love the fact that there are so many possibilities, so many different design possibilities within the scrapbooking world. No matter which basic layout you choose – creating a visual square or triangle, a single focal point or a grid with elements aligned – most of the time it works. This time I’m not quite satisfied with the layout but it is how it is and I won’t change it. What is she talking about you might think – well: I’m OK with the rectangle as it is, but then I sort of messed it up with the visual triangle (the three embellishments clusters).

But it is as it is now and I won’t change it!

The photo is from Katja’s and Joerg’s visit last May. Although Katja is not totally in focus, I love the shot because it shows the movement very nicely. We were on our way around the Isle of Portland. They are both still smiling as we are at the beginning of our walk – soon I will scrap the photos when we arrived back at the car hours later.

For this layout I used the the Dear Lizzy collection “Lucky Charm” by American Crafts. It got really nice colours and bold patterns which I like tu use at them moment. I also found more of 5th & Frolic and Neapolitan – very nice papers and maybe soon on this blog!

Have a good week my crafty friends! x
