Amsterdam: The ’70s Flares

What I Wore: Hat – Zara, Jumper – c/o Next (similar), Jeans – c/o Oasis, Bag – c/o Oasis, Shoes – Clarks X Orla Kiely, Faux fur scarf – New Look

Day two in Amsterdam pretty much consisted of a lot of walking, and I mean a lot. We opted for the healthiest (and best way to see the city) option of walking to everywhere we wanted to go instead of taking any form of public transport, which meant we were able to stop and snap away when a particularly cute shop caught our eye. We must have looked a little odd, all cameras in hand looking up and around us as we walked, but this was one of my favourite bits, because (and I don’t mean to be soppy) I had the best time just hanging out with my chums as we walked, talked (aka laughed lots) and snapped away.

And as you might have guessed from my first outfit from day one, I was heavily inspired by the ’70s when packing for this trip! But it seemed like the right time to wear my Oasis jeans- I’ve had them for a few months but have been waiting for the right outfit to wear it. Wearing platforms and a fedora also seemed like the most natural compliment to the jeans, and while I’m halfway between thinking flares might not be the most flattering on me, I’m still a pretty big fan of them regardless! x
