Pop Up Hot Air Balloons

On Monday the 9th of March, we celebrate Canberra Day here in Australia. I woke up at 5.45 am in the morning and went to the lawns of Old Parliament house to see the annual Canberra Balloon Spectacular. This year, Angry Bird and Yoda hot air balloons are making appearances.

Then I thought, how cute it would be to create printable hot air balloons for the blog! So here’s the how-to guide on making your hot air balloons. Don’t forget to print out your templates from the link at the end of this post.

What you need for this project are: scissors, x-acto knife, twines or strings, stick tapes, super glue or adhesive dots.

You can stick it on the cover of a notebook, create your own greeting card, or as party decorations.
