Birks on the beach

After wearing a pair of sliders and hearing “I haven’t seen those since I was in kindergarten.”, and, “Damn that’s an ugly pair of shoes.”, I realised that Birkenstock’s aren’t for everyone. I personally love the unique style and comfort, and so does my friend/co-stylist Romy (who had a pair before they were cool), which is why it was a no-brainer for us to get our hands on a few pairs for a shoot we styled recently for Georgette Magazine. In between shooting looks I quickly snapped a few photographs of the Birks on the beach (as one does) and after being surrounded by them I’ve decided that I’m investing in a pair from their new summer range.
