About The Look:
  • Dress: I wore this while NYC during Fashion week, and a few times in DC for work since purchasing a few times since. It was thrilled with the fit. It's perfect. Yigal Azrouel's dresses usually retail around $500 and up. I found this one on my new favorite site, TheRealReal for $116 (it was $145 with a 20 percent off promotional code). Since then, I've snagged a few DVF wrap dresses for less than $100 in PERFECT condition as well. The site is for high end, designer consignment. The pieces on TheRealReal are heavily vetted and inspected, so you can feel confident that when you purchase, you'll get a like new item. Yigal also has a contemporary line called Cut25. There is a black, cap sleeve version on this dress that is ADORABLE if you're trying to achieve a similar look.
  • Bag: Gigi New York NAILED IT this season with the launch of the Madison cross body. It's a very similar shape to the Gucci disco bag. I borrowed mine from Jennifer of Haute Off The Rack, but I can't wait for mine in black to arrive! If there is ONE bag you want to invest in this season, this is the one I would recommend. It's right under $200, is VERY well made, and will take you from season to season. (Buy the bag here)
  • Platform Statement Sandals: I also purchased these from TheRealReal for $116. Both the shoes and the dress were each originally $145 and I used the promotional code for a discount. Prada sandals usually retail for at least $600, so getting these new, in perfect condition for a fraction of the price allowed me to afford something special. To my surprise, these were not bad to walk in and the suede/leather was very soft so they did not blister or cause any discomfort. (Shop Prada heels on sale here)
