easter baskets (and a sale!)

Easter baskets, my friends, are not just for kids. At least I keep telling myself that as we keep trying for children. But really, adults can have really fun gifts, too! I put together a collection of basket ideas, each paired with a set of note cards from the etsy shop.

Alrighty, you ready for this? First up!
Luscious Lemons

Zest up someone's holiday with the lemon note set, Mrs. Meyer's dish soap (love this stuff!), some fancy hand soap or lotion from Williams Sonoma, some fresh lemons, and a lovely, wooden juicer. Other ideas would be lemon curd, a zester, yellow flowers (like daffodils!!), or fun smelling yellow candle. And maybe some homemade lemon bars...and a pitcher of lemonade...and.... ok... I need to cut myself off and get my lemon on. I'll be right back!

Okay, sorry about that. (: I really love lemons!

Next up...
Red Riding Goods

Pair up the red floral note set with a simple potted plant, a bundle of your favorite candles, maybe some pens, a gift card to Target, and badaboom badabing! It's a winner!
(A red Coke can would pair nicely with this set also....I'm just sayin...)

Lastly,
Heavenly Hyacinth Dreams

I love the smell of hyacinth. A lot. Like I'm on the verge of planting it in every room in my house. That said, these hyacinth cards are perfect for garden lovers! Match them with fun pens from the dollar bin, packages of seeds, a sweet smelling candle, maybe some fun coasters from Rifle, and a cute bunny to top it off. Would also be cute with a potted hyacinth or bunch of irises. Flowers. Flowers are always the answer, my friends! Always.

And just because the kids need a basket too, check out this Ballerina Basket!

The ballerina cards look sweet nestled with eggs filled with candy, Lindt sheep chocolates, stickers, a bundle of crayons, and some seriously sweet books. (The Goose Girl, Linnea in Monet's Garden, and Beauty and the Beast)

To help inspire your basket creations, for Easter, housewarming, hostess, thank yous, and more, there is 20% off everything in the shop right now! Get your gifts ready for Easter (and even Mother's Day)! Use the code HIPPITYHOP at checkout!
