Chicago Wolves Host Adopt-A-Dog Night Feb. 21st

When the Chicago Wolves play a home game against the San Antonio Rampage on February 21st the AHL team will help dogs in need score their ultimate goal– a forever home.

For the past 14 years, the Wolves have offered an assist to adorable adoptables from the Chicago Department for Animal Care and Control. Over 1,100 Fidos have found forever families to love thanks to the team’s Adopt-A-Dog Nights, which take place throughout each season. According to the Chicago Tribune, the inspiration for the generous gesture was a cat who was saved thanks to the shelter and Wolves owner Don Levin, who also bought and donated the Chicago Department for Animal Care and Control‘s Animobile adoption unit and clinic, which can help up to 25 companion animals at a time on the road to a better tomorrow.

Fans of sports and Spots at the February 21st game can visit the adoptable dogs at the Allstate Arena’s South Lobby. Adoptions are $65 and include the adoption screening process, spaying/neutering, all vaccinations, a Chicago pet license and a Wolves dog collar so your new canine companion can show their pride for the team that encourages potential pet parents to get in the game and adopt a shelter dog.
