Los Angeles Dodgers to Host Pups at the Park

Stepping up to the plate for the sake of dogs and cats who have been thrown a curveball by life, the Los Angeles Dodgers will host Pups at the Park on June 20th.

Prior to watching the Dodgers take on the San Francisco Giants from seats in the Coca-Cola All-You-Can-Eat Right Field Pavilion, families with Fidos can enjoy the following:

  • the Pup Activity Center, where each sports-loving Spot and their guardian will receive a goodie bag.
  • baseball buffs and their barking buddies can tap into their inner MVP as they promenade on the field in the Pup Parade.

Regulations

All fans of the four-legged variety must have proof of current vaccinations, a valid rabies certificate and an ID tag, and be on a leash at all times. Dog guardians must be at least 18 years old, and dogs are required to be at least 6 months old in order to attend the game.

For a Paws Cause

A real game changer for pets in need, a portion of the proceeds from Pups at the Park will benefit Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF). Founded in 1991 by the Baseball Hall of Fame inductee and his wife, the non-profit organization has offered a new lease on life to more than 30,000 dogs and cats who were facing their fate in the shelter system, and has helped to curb pet overpopulation by spaying/neutering more than 28,000 companion animals.

Tickets: $39 per person, $39 for a dog ticket

When: June 20, 2015 (parking gates open at 1:45 p.m., pre-game activity center from 2:15 p.m. – 3 p.m., pup parade at 3 p.m., game at 4:15 p.m.)

Where: Dodger Stadium at 1000 Elysian Park Avenue in Los Angeles, California
