TRAVEL | Berlino nights
After that I was attacked by a women on my way back to my room, find all about it here, I sat some minutes in my room just to relax and Instagram a bit when I suddenly realised something. I was all alone in Berlin and I didn’t knew anyone there. Right. I kind of thought that I was going to be there on my own, but that wasn’t the case at all.
Because there it was, my all time hero Instagram (okay that sounds way to dramatic, but whatever haha). I clicked on a tag of the Stylight Blogger Awards and responded on a picture of Marina from Bonsoir Cherie if she was here on her own as well. And what a coincidence! She was in Berlin on here own as well, I seriously started thinking that I was the only one on her own. After that she responded back we decided to meet up 30 minutes before the award show.
When we met before the show we just talked a bit and went to the line where we met the sweet Alessandra from Alessandra Kamaile. We talked and walked for a bit while we were all a bit in shock of the fact that all those amazing bloggers were in the same room as us. It was insane. When we walked towards the room where the show was we all needed to split up because we all got different seats. And we decided to meet up in the end again, so we did.
The show was simply amazing. I keep forgetting the name of Andreas Wijk, but now since I’ve written the name down I think I will remember it. Hopefully. You might think right now, why do you need to remember his name? Well that’s just easy actually. He performed on the Stylight Blogger Awards and it was incredible, seriously if he would make an album I would buy it. And I tell you something, I won’t do that often, unless your name is Beyonce but that’s a whole different story. But seriously, Andreas Wijk, you my friend were extremely good that night. I liked your own song the most. I don’t know if anyone recorded the whole song because then I would kindly ask that person to mail it to me. He’s got such an unique tone in his voice which I really liked.
When the show was done after an amazing presentation of the one and only Chiara from The Blonde Salad and a German actor named Paul Richter and some amazing award winners like Kenzas and Negin (Yeah! Dutchies rule! World domination! haha), we went to the after party in Prince Charles with our fully stuffed goodiebags with us. But when we arrived at Prince Charles there was a bit of a problem. We all had some drinks in our bags and also a whole bottle of, I don’t know, but it had alcohol in it. When we wanted to walk to the entrance there were a few security guys who kindly asked us, well to be honest they asked everyone, to take all the drinks and bottles out because they couldn’t get in. Right, I understand that of course, don’t understand the fact why they were in the goodiebag at first place. Maybe the sponsor wanted them back? Haha. I don’t know you guys and it wasn’t a problem for me at all, but that was just a bit weird haha.
The after party was so incredible much fun. Everyone was in the same room (duh), but I mean when you’re standing next to Kristina Bazan from the amazing blog Kayture you’re thinking something like, wow is this really happening to me? And then you talk to her and take a picture and it was just so amazing. She is so kind and lovely, so pretty as well. By the way Kristina it was so nice to meet you, hope you enjoyed your pizza Kristina, that rimes haha. Oh gosh, sometimes I’m such a loser. Hope you had a nice evening as well.
It was so much fun and I’ve met so many great and lovely people. So I can’t thank Stylight enough for this amazing event. And I hope to be there next year as well.
