want // my daughter is absolutely obsessed … i mean truly obsessed … with being a “bawaeena”. this obsession began a few weeks ago at my son’s scooter birthday party where she fell in love with an older girl, aimee, who was wearing a ballerina outfit. to this day, she wants to wear her “bawaeena” dress every. single. day. i only have one! so it gets a lot of washing this tutu “Estella” from tutu de monde satisfies her and me. it’s clearly what she wants to wear, and it’s not pink !! stunning.

need // she is also obsessed with baking. wonder where she got that from?? my family and mark’s family have a strong history of baking. my grandmother constance was a baker. my sister is a baker. my sister-in-law is a baker. these genes are embedded in our family (i missed out on those genes). so she needs her own little baking corner.

wear // sandals… the hardest thing to buy for a girl. why are there no good looking, good for feet sandals out there for girls?!? especially in this country of the endless summer !! but i like these from the Melbourne designer Walnut. their canvas shoes are also excellent.

read // this girl does not stop reading. ever. i love that. thanks aunty tam … she got that from you. we were recommended this book again, and it looks so very sweet & exactly what my girl needs to read.
