Razzle Dazzle
When I'm about to be infected by a new Fashion Obsession, I feel it. I can perceive the symptoms, such as flu. And this time I feel that I love so much... sequins!!! But also are fine glitter and strass various ... on clothes - especially - but also on shoes, skirts, sweaters, accessories. I want to shine in this 2015! But I don't want to limit myself to wear sequins just in formal occasions, no! I want to put these wonderful prom dresses even during the day! Imagine, an iridescent mini dress worn with a pair of ankle boots and maybe a maxi vest fur... and a wide-brimmed hat. It's looks like a retro style party, those that were made in New York between the wealthy of Upper East Side, where maybe you could meet Holly Golitly (aka Audrey Hepburn) or Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers intent to dance "cheek to cheek". I like to wear sequins during the day, because it's so Kate Moss when she comes home when it dawns, after a crazy night, between party and rock singers. So, to make the mood even more effective, I find the perfect match is with a mannish jacket, slightly oversized... just like if it was borrowed from a sexy gentleman met the night before, between Champagne Rosé and luxury suites in big hotels. Rather, more than Kate Moss, I would say Holly Golitly in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Do you remember when she comes home in the morning, still elegantly dressed, and went to bed when it's lunch time, with that lovely sleep mask? How I love that movie, that's exactly how I wish about my life. I have to find something for the fashion week... on internet there are so many offers, you'll be spoiled for choice and, thanks also to balances just started, you can do really good bargains! I read that on Sunday, at midnight, online stores make the best deals, because they activate different discounts. I must stay alert, I guess I'll jump on shopping online!!!
Quando sto per essere infettata da una nuova Fashion Obsession, lo sento. Ne riesco proprio a percepire i sintomi, come l'influenza. E questa volta sento che amerò tantissimo... le paillettes!!! Ma vanno benissimo anche glitter e luccichini vari... su abiti - soprattutto - ma anche scarpe, gonne, maglioni, accessori. Io voglio brillare in questo 2015! Ma non voglio limitarmi a indossare paillettes sono in occasioni formali, no! Voglio portare questi meravigliosi abiti eleganti anche di giorno! Immaginate, un mini abito iridescente da portare con un paio di ankle boots e magari un maxi gilet in pelliccia... e un cappello a falda larga. Fa tanto party in stile retrò, di quelli che si facevano a New York tra i ricchi dell'Upper East Side, dove magari si poteva incontrare Holly Golitly (alias Audrey Hepburn) oppure Fred Astaire e Ginger Rogers intenti a ballare "cheek to cheek". Mi piace indossare le paillettes durante il giorno, perché fa molto Kate Moss quando torna a casa quando ormai albeggia, dopo una notte folleggiante, tra party e cantanti rock. Quindi, per rendere il mood ancora più efficace, trovo che l'abbinamento perfetto sia con una giacca dal taglio maschile, leggermente oversize... proprio come se fosse stata presa in prestito da un sexy gentiluomo conosciuto la sera prima, tra Champagne Rosé e suite di lusso in grandi hotel. Anzi, più che Kate Moss, direi proprio Holly Golitly in colazione da Tiffany. Ve la ricordate quando torna a casa al mattino, ancora elegantemente vestita, e si mette a letto quando ormai è ora di pranzo, con quella deliziosa mascherina per il sonno? Quanto amo quel film, è esattamente come vorrei fosse la mia vita. Devo trovare qualcosa per la fashion week... su internet ci sono davvero moltissime proposte, c'è solo l'imbarazzo della scelta e, grazie anche ai saldi appena iniziati, si possono fare davvero degli ottimi affari! Ho letto che la domenica, a mezzanotte, si fanno gli affari migliori, perché i negozi online attivano diversi sconti. Bisogna stare all'erta, mi sa che mi butto sullo shopping online!!!
