We received a new Ask Emmaline question and it’s a good one! This comes from Sydney, who asks,

“My fiancé and I are looking for easy wedding decor we can add to our reception. We love the idea of something custom, maybe tying in our favorite authors or books (we’re planning a book-inspired wedding). Any ideas?”

One of the easiest, most personal way to tie in quotes, favorite movies, or books–as you mentioned–is with a wedding poster. A wedding posteris an easy decorating piece is because it can sit on an easel at the entrance of your reception, or to add a pop of decor to an otherwise lonely looking cake table, guest book table, or favor table. Plus, it can be customized with your names, a line from your favorite song (like your first dance), wedding date, colors, etc.

Plus, you can’t argue with wedding decor that doubles in your home afterward, right?
