Flower tiaras on your wedding day

Feel like an authentic princess with your very own tiara.

I love special weddings. Yes, I realize they’re all special. But I’m referring to the weddings that go away from conventionalism, that make you feel like you’re part of your very own fairytale. It’s your day, so why not live it like an authentic princess? And I’m not talking in a figurative sense, I mean literally. A princess tiara. And not just any tiara, but a flower tiara. Could there be anything more romantic?

Although at first it may seem like they wouldn’t go with every type of bride, nor with every style, the truth is that there are so many varieties of flower tiaras that, if you want to wear one, you’ll find the ideal one for you. They go well with both long hair and short hair, down or up and depending on the dress, you’ll be able to opt for one tiara or another.

I like the medium-size ones, without too many artificial flowers, nor flowers that are too big that cover your face- one that will bring out all your best features. I don’t like the ones that are too small either; for once that we’re going to wear a tiara, it’s time to show it off.

I’ve fallen in love with this look. It has an undeniably hippie vibe and a sense of simplicity to it, accentuated by a chiffon dress with embroidery details. A delicate ensemble in which the tiara adds a natural touch which can even be reminiscent of medieval weddings. Hair down and ‘messy’ curls are also really favoring. Perfect for those they have always dreamt of being a princess one day.

If your dress is more sheer and you want to add flowers in your hair, but in a simplistic manner, you can choose to put a flower to the side of your head tucked behind your ear. Keep your hair down and natural if your wedding is in the countryside and you want to go away from conventionalism.

Don’t forget that the bouquet of flowers is another essential on this day. Whether you choose them dry or natural, go for simplicity. It will be one of your best accessories of the day. I love this style because of the beautiful colors and types of flowers; those lavenders…They’re dried flowers, but they add lots of life. It’s an extraordinary touch that ventures out from conventional styles and really stands out.

And if you really want to stand out and be a different, transgressive bride on your big day, wear colorful shoes instead of traditional heels. Do you dare to try it?
