DECOR: BOOKSHELVES STYLING

Now that we have done all the major renovations in our house, we have decided to tackle one "wish list" project each month. To start, we are currently working on building a built-in window seat with bookshelves in our living room {check out a sneak peak via Instagram}. Luckily, my fiance is incredibly handy and did all the measuring, building and making sure my vision comes to life. My big assignment? To find/potentially make cushions for the window seat and plan the decorations for the bookshelves.

Since we must, of course, stay within our budget, I decided to share my inspiration for a few of the items I hope to add to the shelves. Our living room is filled with neutral shades of cream and grey and I plan to stick to our theme with a pop with gilded gold and earthy elements. I also want to stock up on fun artwork and print our engagement photos to frame for a personal touch.

Any tips for places to find stylish decor on the cheap?
