Gallery Wall

I have a severe lack of art in my house right now, but I do love art, and I have created some pretty impressive gallery walls in my time if I do say so myself! If you want an awesome Hanson poster collage just ask fourteen year old me and I could hook you up with some great stuff! I have been sorting through the art I already own, and trying to figure out where it should all go. I have also been thinking more about unique art and trying to get beyond just prints in a frame. I have also been perusing Pinterest and other blogs for inspiration and ideas. (Click the photo for the source).

One of my favorite pieces I own is this painting by Sara Barrett AKA Barkdecor. I bought it a few years back and asked her to make me a huge 32” x 44” print for my living room. I loved it when I bought it and I feel like I just fall in love again and again every time I look at it! I also love that the orange fur of the foxes kinda resembles my sweet doggy Prince.

“Smoke Signals” by Barkdecor

I later bought this set of prints from Barkdecor but they have been sitting for almost a year now. I am definitely going to use “Un Renard” over the navy dresser, but I still can’t decide where to put the other two.

My most recent purchases were a great vintage book page of antelopes from Etsy and a piece of scrap booking paper from De Serres. I went in there looking for a bunch of other things and came out with this single item. I love the blue whales and the other side is a watery blue with white polka dots. I think I will cut it in half and frame each side so I can always see both patterns.

I am still puttering and deciding where to put things and I have to get some frames but I will definitely share when I am done!
