{Citrus garden party}

Recently I've been channelling my inner domestic goddess. I'm back in England for a fortnight and I'm making the most of having a kitchen big enough to bake until my hearts content. Forever finding baking inspiration, I'm making any excuse to put the ideas to practise. This time I invited one of my closest friends over for a garden party for two. We sipped on citrus sparklers and nibbled on pink grapefruit cupcakes al fresco. I instantly fell in love with the uniqueness of these cupcakes. Each one looks imperfect in a perfect kind of way where the cake mix unevenly oozes through the gaps in the grapefruit.
