Kanye West Is On The Hunt For Investment

The last collection Kanye West showed in Paris back in 2011 may have had a frosty reception but that’s hasn’t deterred him from pushing forward with his design ambitions.

Rumours emerged a while ago that the rapper had started working on the line again and last week reports emerged that he’s currently on the hunt for investors to help him expand the line and his creative design and content company Donda too.

The company, which is also the name of his fashion line, manages all of West’s creative pursuits. The first big one was his 2009 footwear collaboration with Louis Vuitton, his design partnership with Nike, which has just come to a close, along with his new deal with Adidas and capsule collections with French brand A.P.C.

The news comes shortly after it was announced that West’s creative design and content company, Donda (which is also the name of his fashion line) has teamed up with Jay Z’s Roc Nation on a partnership that will see the company manage his international recording brand and touring ventures too.

By the sounds of it, he’s already built quite the empire. On top of his fashion and design projects, Donda is also responsible for the creating artwork for other artists like the artwork West created for the ‘Watch the Throne’ album with Jay Z, along with album covers for the likes of Lil Wayne and Pusha T.
