One of the most iconic pieces in a winter wardrobe, seen on many fashion blogs, that I consider one of the best stylish investments we can do, is a camel coat. I have always known the kind of coat I wanted: it had to be a high quality piece, made with luxurious and warm fabric, long enough and it had to be a camel belted coat, for defined waist and a flattering feminine figure. I was sure I would find mine at Max Mara: the brand is famous for the high quality and for the modern and timeless design of its coats, and as soon as I tried on this Max Mara Studio Tortona coat, in wool, silk and angora, in a warm shade of camel, I was in love. Perfect both with casual chic looks like that one I am showing you today and with more formal and elegant looks, this double breasted camel coat is one of those must have pieces that make you think after all winter isn't that bad !.

Uno dei capi più iconici del guardaroba invernale, visto su molti fashion blog, che considero uno degli investimenti migliori in fatto di stile che si possano fare, è un cappotto cammello. Sapevo bene il tipo di cappotto che desideravo: doveva essere di qualità, in tessuto morbido e caldo, lungo abbastanza e doveva essere un cappotto cammello con la cintura, per esaltare il punto vita e le forme femminili. Ero sicura che lo avrei trovato da Max Mara: il brand è famoso per la qualità e per il design sia moderno che senza tempo dei suoi cappotti, ed appena ho provato questo cappotto della linea Studio, modello Tortona, in lana, seta ed angora ed in una calda tonalità cammello, me ne sono innamorata. Perfetto sia con look casual chic, come questo che vi mostro oggi, che con outfit più formali ed eleganti, questo cappotto cammello doppio petto è uno di quei capispalla must have che ti fanno pensare che dopotutto l'inverno non sia poi così male !.

Belted camel coat and Chanel 2.55 classic flap bag

This time I decided to wear my iconic Max Mara camel coat with another classic timeless piece, my black Chanel 2.55 classic flap, that truly goes well with anything, and to unleash the fashion blogger in me by adding some not so casually styled...casual touches !. Indeed, underneath my coat, I was wearing Zara distressed boyfriend jeans and a cobalt blue sweater I bought at & Other Stories. At my neck, a lovely Sodini necklace with colorful stones, from this Fall-Winter collection. The neutral shade of the coat gives you a lot of freedom when it comes to using colors; obviously, you could easily win going all black but it's really fun to play with colors, and in this case royal blue was the color of choice, either for my sweater and for my Oakley sunglasses. Bright red on my nails and on my lips, with a MAC nail polish, Queen's Hnour, and Guerlain Rouge Parade lipstick. At my feet, a pair of ankle boots from Roberto Botticelli, with high but comfortable heel. Both worn wrapped with a belt and boldly left open, this coat is a statement outerwear piece I am really happy to have in my closet. Do you own, or do you plan to buy yourself a camel coat ?.

Cappotto cammello con cintura e borsa Chanel 2.55 classic flap

Questa volta ho deciso di indossare il mio iconico cappotto color cammello Max Mara insieme ad un altro pezzo classico e senza tempo, la borsa Chanel 2.55 classic flap in nero, che sta bene davvero con tutto, e di sguinzagliare la fashion blogger che è in me aggiungendo dei tocchi casual...poco casuali !. Infatti, sotto al cappotto, portavo dei jeans boyfriend un po' strappati di Zara ed un maglione a quadri color cobalto preso da & Other Stories. Al collo, una adorabile collana Sodini con pietre colorate, dalla collezione Autunno-Inverno. La tonalità neutra del cappotto regala molta libertà quando si trata di usare i colori; ovviamente, si potrebbe "vincere facile" abbinandolo al nero, ma giocare con i colori mi diverte sempre un sacco, allora ecco che il blu elettrico è stato il colore prescelto, sia per la maglia che per gli occhiali da sole Oakley. Rosso brillante sulle unghie e sulle labbra, grazie ad uno smalto MAC, Queen's Honour, ed al rossetto Guerlain Rouge Parade. Ai piedi, un paio di ankle boots Roberto Botticelli, dal tacco alto ma comodi. Sia indossato stretto in vita dalla cintura che lasciato aperto con disinvoltura, questo cappotto è un capospalla esclusivo che sono davvero felice di avere nell'armadio.
