Creating my own impression isn’t bad for a first timer

I wasn’t able to use the pre-paid postage because my location is outside US. I send back my impression via our city’s post office which cost me about 900 Thb ($30). I received back my set of custom dental models and whitening trays for less than 14 days.

The cause of the irritation? I forgot to wipe any access gel off after I put the trays on! My bad After the 7th application, here’s the result:

With my remaining syringe (about 4.5 ml) of desensitizing gel and whitening gel, I made a few changes with my application. Instead of applying desensitizing gel before whitening gel, I did the opposite. It’s whitening gel before desensitizing gel. The use of the desensitizing gel prior to whitening applications may slow the whitening results. But if your teeth are really sensitive use desensitizing gel before whitening.

Also, instead of brushing and floss with toothpaste, I just brush my teeth and floss without toothpaste. You see, toothpaste leaves a film over your teeth that will not let the whitening gel do its complete job so it slows down the process.

After 5 more whitening sessions (a total of 12 whitening , 1 hour per session) , I’m proud to say, the teeth whitening works! Plus, I had my crown replaced! Now, I can smile brilliantly!

How I wish I could keep my teeth as white as the latest result forever. As we all know, whitening treatments don’t permanently whiten teeth. If I expose my teeth to food and beverages that cause staining (hello there coffee and curry) , the whiteness will start to fade in as little as 1 month after treatment.
