Tori Radday

60's Mod

Hello! This photo is a close-up shot of one of my outfits from earlier this week. This photo is one of my favorite photos in a while because it beautifully shows off the details of the outfit and also highlights my "R" tattoo. I got this tattoo over winter break and the "R" represents my last name, Radday.

For this look, I steered away from my usual color palette of various shades of blacks and other dark colors and threw on a bold orange dress. The textured fabric, happy sunflower print and bold color of this dress make quite the statement. Although you can't tell from this photo, the dress has a very retro 60's mod feel to it.

I decided to emphasize the retro appeal of the dress by slipping on a pair of bright floral Doc Martens. The cheery colors and quirky appeal of the flower child print of the boots scream "60's." I also slipped on a pair of dark green and white polka dot socks with the boots because I like how the print of the boots and the print of the socks accentuate each other.

Bright orange dress: Urban Outfitters
Polka dot socks: Forever 21
Floral boots: Doc Martens
