Floral Mini
Oh, hey! Remember me? I’m that girl next door who used to ramble on about shoes and shopping. Well, I’m alive…living out a suitcase in LA…and I’ve got a stockpile of outfits to share with you guys…like this outfit that I wore at least a month ago! I haven’t had time to sit down and write a blog post, but I knew I’d be traveling for most of December and I left the tripod at home, so it kinda worked out that I have all these looks to pull from while I’m away.
Speaking of traveling, check me out on Instagram to see what I pull together from my #SuitcaseWardrobe. I’ll be living out of a suitcase for 30 days, so I tried my hand at putting together a wardrobe capsule featuring 30 well thought out pieces instead of my normal packing methodology, which is really more like a non-methodology. Seriously, I’m one of those really indecisive people who tries to pack their ENTIRE closet in a suitcase (or 5 suitcases)…you know that girl that tries to anticipate every possible event or occasion she’s going to encounter out of town and. pack for it…yeah, that’s me. But, the truth is I never need all that crap. So, this time I used Kinks Are the New Pink’s tips for building a totally remixable fall wardrobe capsule, grabbed my pad and paper and wrote down EVERY single piece I was even considering packing. It really forced me to think about how I could wear and remix each and every item. I couldn’t get myself down to 20 items…but you know….baby steps! Lol.
P.S. It is VERY LIKELY that I will end up shopping while I’m in Cali because I mean…you know…I can’t come home without shopping…so don’t judge if my 30 items becomes 40 by the New Year. Lol!
