Mixing Prints: Plaid and Gingham

I find mixing prints always fun, no matter the season. I know gingham is more of a spring/summer print but pairing it up with a plaid top and heavy knit cardigan, it introduced it to the winter. When it comes to mixing prints I always try to keep everything else neutral: black shoes, tights, etc. This will help prevent the look from clashing. I also find it easier to pick colors that match in each other prints.
