Cheers to the Weekend // 03

One of my 15 resolutions for 2015 is to do more exploring, not only with regards to travel, but also exploring NYC neighborhoods. NYC is an amazing city. There’s so much to see and do. I haven’t even been everywhere in Harlem yet, let alone the rest of Manhattan, and oh yes, there’s also the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island…you get where I’m going with this.

To prepare for our local weekend excursions, Quentin and I have turned one of our shelves into our little “New York Nook.” I found the cutest little books and things at Urban Outfitters that are all about exploring this wonderful city. This weekend, why not take a day to find something new and exciting in your own backyard?

I am especially excited about running up and down the city looking for doughnuts! Cake is my favorite thing in the world, but doughnuts come a very close second…
