Take me back to Atlantic City
Facing now the darkest times of the year, these cold and damp shortest of days, the only reasonable thing is to get cozy under the blankets with some hot tea in one hand and a good book in the other. If there was a chance to turn back time, I would probably place myself on the streets of New York or heck, on the deserted but warm beach of Atlantic City which was our next stop after DC. Apart from the wild casinos and nightclubs (fist pump Jersey Shore style, yeah buddy!) , this city offers a beautiful seaside and taking a walk on that famous boardwalk, you can almost feel the history and the smell of bootlegged whisky around you. No Nucky Thompson and the crew at sight though; what a pity.
