Weekend Recap

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend!
Brody's school ended their Christmas break last week, so he went back to pre-school on Friday. Jillian and I have girl days on Wednesdays and Fridays when Brody is at school. She was happy to be back in our routine on Friday. I missed Brody like crazy though. I'm already dreaming of pool days this summer and having them both at home. I'm blaming part of that on that fact that is SO cold here right now! ;)

We made a Target run on Friday. Brody loves these little little grabber arm things. He has a couple of these and he uses them for the most random things!

Poor Jillian took a little snooze at Target. I don't even need a clock with this child. If it's even within an hour of her nap time and she gets in a cart, she will fall asleep.

Saturday, we switched Jillian from a toddler bed to a big girl twin bed. It's the first time in over 5 years that we have not had a crib/converted toddler bed in our house. So crazy!
Here is her cute, girly, pink bed! I wanted her new bedding {from Target} to still match her original nursery colors/fabric so that we didn't have to change-out everything. I still love the sweet Amy Butler fabric we used for her room.

I think we are going to have a upholstered headboard made, and I still need to get some decorative pillows for the bed, but this little girl {and Barbie and Cinderella} were very excited about the change!

Her space wasn't the only one I changed-up on Saturday. My little desk nook in the kitchen was a sad sight. I have been spending a lot of time here the last few weeks working on Bible studies, etc., for the spring semester and I needed it to look a littler happier. Nothing a TJ Maxx run couldn't fix! ;)

Yesterday morning, we woke-up to a few inches of snow. We bundled-up and headed to church yesterday morning.

Schools are out today because of weather, so there is no MDO for Jillian today. We are just hanging out and staying warm inside today.
