Favorite Things Gift Guide: Mother's Day edition

Thank you to everyone who left such kind, encouraging words on our finished mudroom! I'm constantly surprised & honored that you choose to visit my blog/take the time to leave a comment when there are so many others out there who do this blogging thing better than I do ;-) Thanks a million!
Can you believe Mother's Day is just a couple weeks away?! A few weeks back, I mentioned that Stefanie of Brooklyn Limestone & Jennifer of Rambling Renovators invited me to participate in a blogger Favorite Things Gift Exchange: Mother's Day Edition. These gals coordinated a lovely gift exchange to encourage us to get to know each other better (much like the community used to be back in the old blogging days). Whoa was it fun! Surprises were dropped on my doorstep daily from various generous sponsors....I might be in denial that this is over. Also, I discovered our UPS guy is super hot professional.
On top of it all, I received an amazing package from the awesome Nicole of Making It Lovely (my secretly assigned blogger in this exchange). The gold urchins from Furbish Studio couldn't be more perfect for our mid century mod credenza. Gold, edge-y objects of curiosity? Sign me up! You're right, Nicole: the prettiest shiniest things serve no purpose but wow do I love them!! They arrived along with the best pens, a fun paintbrush notepad, a finger puppet monster (which Quinn immediately stole & I have yet to see it again) & the sweetest note from Nicole on a pretty epic card. I was feeling very spoiled & lucky indeed. Thank you, Nicole!
