~ inspired holiday home: jody

December is here and it's time to get in the spirit of the season!
My friend Jody was kind enough to share her beautiful home for this holiday edition of an inspired home. Her collection of Christmas goodies is spectacular and includes the most amazing array of MacKenzie-Childs pieces I've ever seen!

I didn't even know this sleigh existed! The details are remarkable!

Beautiful Christmas trees can be found throughout the house...

And plenty of Santas...

And lots of MacKenzie-Childs...

Nary a speck is out of place. Not one single speck.

What a happy space this sunroom is... bright and cheery.

This darling angel is made from broken pieces of dishes involved in an unfortunate mishap. Almost an entire collection of Spode dinnerware was destroyed in a china catastrophe. What a wonderful end result to a holiday misadventure!

I love those fruit topiaries!

And that rooster!

Stunning centerpiece a la MacKenzie-Childs...

Check out this sink in the powder room complete with an inspiring message!

A charming collection of birds provide additional entertainment for guests...

This house is immaculate from top to bottom I tell you.

Wait until you see the basement!

I adore the windows in the basement! Definitely makes it feel like it's not a basement...

Isn't that a handsome chest?

Oh, and there's a wine cellar...

Jody does much more decorating than I do for the holidays. I loved how everything felt very organized and perfect. I was definitely inspired. What a way to get me in the holiday mode! I came directly home and started planning. I have to say, thanks to Jody, I was busy over the Thanksgiving weekend with lights outside, my Christmas tree, and lots of MacKenzie-Childs ribbon... I admit, it's the earliest I've ever been this organized. Thank you Jody!

My holidecor coming up next...
