How to Make Perfect Crispy Bacon: How to Bake Bacon

I bet you didn’t know that the perfectly cooked piece of bacon is a baked piece of bacon! Well, it’s true. I can’t believe I didn’t realize this a lot sooner. Gone are the days of splattered oil all over my stove and in my face! I used turkey bacon. It has a lot less fat and when baked it taste just like the real thing! Place the bacon on a broiling pan. If using turkey bacon like I did make sure to spray the pieces with olive oil spry or Pam prior to sticking in the oven. If you are using regular bacon you do not need to spray first. You also do not need to preheat the oven. If you do not have your broil pan use a metal cooling rack, just be sure to have a pan under it to catch the dripping fat.

You will need a broil pan. You always see these in an oven and usually don’t know what it’s for. I now refer to my broiling pan as a bacon pan! Make sure you have a pan under it to catch the drippings. I wish I had a bigger one. You can also use a metal cooling rack and have a pan under it to catch the fat that drips. Also, lining the bottom pan with foil makes clean up much easier.

This is the perfect thing you need to cook your bacon:
