I have been to Picca before, but only to enjoy drinks. Last week I sat down for dinner with a friend and I am hitting myself for not trying their menu sooner, especially since it’s in my neighborhood. I couldn’t have been more impressed with the mouth watering bites! Their recently updated
menu boast tapas style Peruvian dishes with a Japanese flair. I was like a kid in a candy store. Just when I thought I ordered the best thing, the next dish was equally satisfying. The mastermind behind their flavorful menu is
Chef Zarate, who was awarded the Best New Chef in America title by
Food and Wine Magazinein 2011. I have added Picca to my list of go-to spots, the atmosphere and creative menu is just my style! Below is what we ordered. Regretfully, we didn’t order the fish and chips. Next time I’m ordering those first.
