Savory Walnut Cheeze

Some people are still really into avocado toasts but c’mon, that’s like, so last year. Do you know what should take its place? Walnut cheeze.

Not only is it vegan friendly, it goes really well with fresh apple slices, carrots sticks, sausage patties, toast with poached eggs…a lot of things, okay?

For 1 cup:

  • 1 c. unsalted roasted walnut halves
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. nutritional yeast
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. awase miso

Soak walnuts overnight in two cups of water, about 8 hours. Drain. Combine the ingredients in a food processor. Mix until creamy.
