OOTD: The Impulse Purchase

You all know I have a general aversion to color in my wardrobe. Just take one look at my closet! Stripes, denim, black, white. That small sampling of my closet is no exaggeration either, my entire wardrobe follows suit. So how, pray tell, did this explosion of color make its way home with me? Two words: impulse purchase.
Despite all my best efforts, my dressing room selfies, my budgeting, planning, and generally obsessing over clothing purchases, the odd impulse takes hold every now and then and I wind up with a vintage tropical romper. Oops. Sorry bout it. This one happened at Feathers Vintage here in Austin. It's gotta be in my top 5 places to make bad decisions. That and Gourdough's Donuts (everything comes on a donut, even the salad. Not jk).

I will have to delve into this topic more deeply at a later date, but cutting off all your hair is in effect pulling back the curtains. There's nowhere to hide, so you might as well go the whole nine yards.

• Leopard heels, check
• Bejeweled clutch, why not

You're only 20-something once, so you might as well wear an adult onesie. You can quote me on that.
