Dermalogica Holistic Body Treatments

After being a fan of Dermalogica Facials since years, I can't believe I was so late to jump onto their Body Treatment bandwagon. I believe they've been out there since a while, with quite a few salons providing it as their luxury spa treatment. They are not your usual massage or body polishing treatments but have this element of holistic appeal added in which makes them special. Including a Mineral Salt Scrub, Nourishing Sea Mud Therapy, Power Recovery Therapy, Mud Massage Therapy and The Complete Thermal Body Experience, there's a treatment for every person and body concern.
What I absolutely love from their range of services is the Detoxifying Back Facial and Deep Thermal Therapy. The Back Facial includes a cleanse, exfolation, mask and a mini massage to wrap things up. Great if you suffer from back acne, blemish scars, oily-combination skin and so on. A lovely pre-summer treatment if you're planning to wear backless numbers or bikinis and want flawless looking skin.
Their Deep Thermal Therapy on the other hand consists of a thermal stamp, a therapy that was coined in 14th century Thailand. With a lot of nourishing herbal ingredients filled in the stamp, it is used in conjunction with heat therapy to massage areas of the body. This allows the benefits of the ingredients to pass on to the body in a holistic manner where the client feels extremely relaxed. Targeting pressure points or areas of concerns such as the calves, shoulders, back and so on, the perfect harmony of botanical ingredients and heat work amazingly. A great alternative to your regular massage or if you want to try out something different with therapeutic, de-stressing benefits.
Valentine's Day is just around the corner and these treatments are a lovely option to gift your other half. Would also make a thoughtful Mother's Day present.
