Dressing Up for the Heat

Now that you have pampered your skin and glammed up your flat, isn't it just the perfect time to bulk up your wardrobe with some special 2012 Spring/Summer pieces? Here are some of the secret finds I have stumbled upon recently:

Clothing

Book of Deer is a super new brand by a young Scottish-Chinese fashion designer, Eilidh Ho. Based in Hong Kong, she aims to bring to life a dreamy collection filled with chiffon pieces, digitally-printed with her girly hand-drawn illustrations, each attempting to tell a different fairytale.

Seed Heritage has whipped up a road trip selection for this season, mixing classic staples with edgy embellished pieces, making sure you are ready to rock your summer holidays. They have touched the mundane skinny jeans with a palette of vibrant colours, from emerald to vermillion to marigold, so you can spice up your wardrobe with something that you can be sure you will get to wear in lots of different occasions. Are you in need of a party look? Their bold, sparkling sequined tank will definitely translate your casual luxe flair accurately.

Accessories

Wellendorff, an intricate German jewelry brand, offers a beautiful selection for the upcoming season. Their Angel of the Night collection, which comes in earrings and bracelets, embraces gentle curves that represent the angel's wings, and tastefully combines playfulness with timelessness.

Pure Dead Brilliant, introduced by the adventurous peeps behind Pretty Dangerous, offers some unique gold, silver, and brass jewelry for us lucky boys and girls in Hong Kong. Their designer, Nora Logan, grew up in Hong Kong, London and New York, and subsequently lived in Florence, Scotland, Paris, and Bali. She conjured up a collection that reflects her global tribe background, while tapping into Bali's rich local resources.
