DIY XOXO Ring Dish

Polymer clay is a fun material to work with because there's so many things that can be made with it! In the past I used it to make faux Agate coasters but this time I thought I would try my hand at making a dish. I chose to make my Valentine's themed but you could use any letters or even a picture at the bottom.
Supplies:
  • Polymer clay
  • Mod Podge & a paintbrush
  • Paper letters (found in the scrapbooking section of most craft stores)
  • X-Acto knife

(Flatten out the clay, using a rolling pin if necessary)

(Cut the clay into a square that measures 4 X 4 inches)

(Turn the sides up and pinch at the corners to secure. Turn the edges in. Bake according to the directions on the package of clay)

(After dish is finished baking and has cooled, place the letters down and brush the entire bottom with a thin coat of Mod Podge. Let dry)

!function(doc,s,id){ var e, p; if(!doc.getElementById(id)) { e = doc.createElement(s); e.id = id; p = '//shopsensewidget.shopstyle.com/widget-script.js'; var cb = new Date().getTime(); p = '?cb=' cb; e.src = p; doc.body.appendChild(e); } if(typeof window.ss_shopsense === 'object'){ if(doc.readyState === 'complete'){ window.ss_shopsense.init(); } } }(document, 'script', 'shopsensewidget-script');
