Cherry Berry Smoothie (Vegan)


This weekend officially marked the start of summer. I better get over to the farm to get a new tank of propane because my grill is looking ready to be BFFs again. The berries and cherries I am getting right now are like beautiful music to my taste buds. And I am really loving just chucking said fruit in a blender and sipping away while I curl up with my latest book obsession. You see, this way I can have one hand around my smoothie and one hand holding my book. It’s pretty much the perfect way to spend 10 minutes at any time of the day. And I am not going to lie to you… I put a couple of tablespoons of raw cocoa powder in here before I drank it. To me, chocolate makes everything better. So if you are a fellow chocoholic, seriously, do it because it was amazing. But if you aren’t a crazy chocolate-belongs-in-everything-did-they-invent-chocolate-toothpaste-yet kind of a person, obviously this is wonderful just as it is!!
