East Coast Road Trip

Boston
Hi! I'm finally back and ready to share some pics from my latest adventure. For those of you who have been around awhile, you might remember me taking a road trip last year with two girlfriends to celebrate our friend's 30th bday (you can see the pics here and here). We had such a great time we decided to make it a tradition :) So this year we picked the East Coast and I was so excited to be able to check so many states, and places, off my list! I think we ended up touching 10 states total after flying into Boston and driving South until we ended in Washington D.C.
I loved being able to take in every city and appreciate the different buildings and beauty in each stop. And then marvel at the glorious changing leaves lining our entire trip. But I think my favorite part was getting a glimpse at the beginnings of this great country. For all the problems it currently has, it was so moving to be reminded of the ideals and dreams America was built on and made me so grateful to call this place home.
More beautiful Boston

Providence, RI
Absolutely loved it here

I really had a thing for cemeteries this trip. There's something so beautiful and peaceful about them. Especially ones where the tombstones date back several hundred years. This was the most lovely, quaint cemetery we spotted when driving through Sandwich, MA that I made the girls stop at so I could walk around. It was surrounded by water and beautiful trees and I wish I could have spent hours there. That whole town was adorable as well.
Dinner at J.G. Melon in NYC. Followed by yummy frozen hot chocolates at Serendipity.
Saying goodbye to NY after being there less than 18 hours
The coolest Lincoln statue in New Jersey that Allison read about on our last trip when we were at Mt. Rushmore. The same guy who designed Rushmore also created this statue! We took about a billion really fun pics with him.
The beautiful skyline of Philadelphia. I loved this city.

Dancing around the National Mall. We saw a red fox here, just running around. Best thing ever.
And that's a wrap. Thanks for following along with me here and on instagram! I love being able to share parts of my story with such lovely people. Have a wonderful day!
