The GlobetrotterGirls are Jessica, an American freelance travel editor and writer, and Dani, a German freelance photographer. Our passion for travel is a thirst that can not be quenched by just a few holidays a year.
This is why in 2010, we decided to kick the idea of having a ‘bucket list’ and instead started living our bucket life. We packed up our London flat and took our jobs with us on the road. We now live as digital nomads, combining a full time work schedule with a full time travel schedule. Although balancing long-term travel and work is not always easy and not always fun – it is always life at its 100% fullest.
Since beginning our travels, we have climbed volcanoes, swum with sharks and sting-rays, gone caving deep into sacred and ancient Mayan caves, become accustomed to passing by men with very sharp machetes on the street and have mastered the art of taking some pretty crazy public transportation.
