Amaya Arzuaga Fall Winter 2013 (Good girl with bad habits.)

It is in the very intimate setting of the Embassy of Spain, the Spanish designer Amaya Arzuaga presented her very graphic collection for the Fall Winter 2013.

C’est dans le cadre très intimiste de l’ambassade d’Espagne, que la créatrice Amaya Arzuaga a présenté sa très graphique collection Fall Winter 2013.

The show began with sleek and structured total black silhouettes. Then, the designer had fun scattering orange keys, her favorite color, before committing several outfits to it.

Le défilé s’est ouvert avec des silhouettes au total-look black et aux lignes pures & structurées. Puis, la créatrice espagnole s’est amusée à éparpiller des touches d’orange, sa couleur fétiche, avant d’y consacrer plusieurs tenues.

The line contains mohair sweaters, who find here all it sense, enticing geometric references inspired by the Cubist period. There were also woolen skirts with navy blue geometric shapes, stone gray, turquoise and sheepskin brown.

La ligne présente des pulls en mohair, qui trouvent ici tout leur sens, en aguichant des références géométriques inspirées de la période cubiste. On retrouve également des jupes en laine aux formes géométriques bleu marine, gris pierre, turquoise et brun basane. 

The combination of leather, a "cold material" with mohair and silk "hot materials" is done with elegance. The game of structure is accented by pronounced shoulders and sleeves with curved and symmetrical cuts.

L’alliance du cuir, “matière froide”, avec le mohair et la soie “matières chaudes” se fait avec élégance. Les jeux de structure sont accentués par des épaules marquées ou des manches bombées aux coupes amples et symétriques.
