Ankle Swingers And Dr Martens

(Coat: Choies, Jumper: Asos, Jeans: Asos, Shoes: Dr Marten 1461) The pressures of university have finally caught up with me this week. When I went back In September I cushioned myself In a naive little bubble, I assured myself that I'd be fine I wouldn't let myself fall victim to the trials and tribulations that university life brings. I told myself that I'd keep on top of all my work, that way there wouldn't be a need for a mad dash whenever there was a deadline.

But then Christmas happened. My lengthy 3 week break played havoc with my well oiled organised brain and I fell into a deep vat of never ending christmas films and masses of sickly sweet treats. The onesie became my outfit of choice and to much of my shame we rarely parted ways, well apart from when it needed washing (and even then I was bitter about it), and because of this lack of adventure in the wardrobe department, my 'OOTD' posts sadly disappeared for awhile.
And with all this comfort meant no work got done over the christmas break, I think it may be possible that my brain temporarily check out and my body when Into some sort of zombie auto-piolt (we've all been there), my days consisted of purely food and sleep, not the productive christmas I was hoping for. So as you can imagine the 1st of January hit me like a ton of bricks, no time to make resolutions Ill never keep, no time to revel in 2015, I didn't even have time to celebrate my blogs 1st birthday with you guys which was on the 9th, I've had to sacrifice my beloved sleep again and work straight through to my deadline, hence the sparse blog posts. But not to worry come Wednesday Ill have handed In all my work and I can resume my normal blog schedule, well maybe after some sleep..

With all this monotonous work and no chance to play I've fallen into the safety net that is this outfit, an awkward length pair of jeans matched with my much loved and well worn roll neck jumper, to finish the look off and to make my body proportions look even more peculiar I added a pair of clunky Dr Marten flats, which by the way I won In a eBay war! I came out victorious after a last minute bid in the final few seconds (Yep I one of them eBayers, swooping In like a digital ninja) and then my giant oversized shearling coat from Choies which I cannot get enough of, like seriously this coat might have to be pried off of me with a crowbar.
