Borough Market

Yesterday I decided to take my camera out and visit Borough Market and walk along the bank of the Thames to the Tate Modern Museum. Luckily it turned into a nice day, and I spent some time on the grass in front of the museum with everyone else trying to catch some rays of sunshine.

I couldn't resist a gigantic cookie for £2 each!

This same stall also had huge meringues with bits of cookie or brownie on top!

The Southwark Cathedral is right beside the market, so I recommend getting something to eat and sitting in their courtyard to enjoy it. The full Borough Market is open Wednesday-Saturday. Try to go on a weekday if you can, to avoid the crowds.
