DaWanda, BartekDesign bow tie

La velocità con cui produciamo e consumiamo oggetti in serie troppo uguali tra di loro ha portato, negli ultimi anni, alla riscoperta di un mondo più “caldo” come quello dei prodotti handmade. La nascita di Internet e degli e-shop ha permesso a queste piccole realtà di poter coltivare il contatto diretto con il pubblico ampliandone le dimensioni! DaWanda ad esempio è un mercato on-line dedicato proprio ai prodotti fatti a mano, creati da designer di talento e artisti del fai da te, che possono essere personalizzati secondo i propri gusti. All’interno è possibile trovare articoli unici: dall’abbigliamento agli accessori, passando per borse, gioielli, decorazioni per la casa e giocattoli per bambini.

Nella sezione dedicato all’Uomo ho scoperto BartekDesign, l’e-shop di un ragazzo olandese che realizza papillon utilizzando stoffe davvero originali. Quello che indosso in questo outfit post, ad esempio, è formato da uno sfondo chiaro e un motivo di volpi arancioni illustrate in uno stile fanciullesco. Molto divertente! Per dare un maggiore risalto al papillon ho deciso di utilizzare una camicia in denim di Zara, un pantalone con bretelle in tartan scozzese blu-verde di SPARKS e le colorate Puma Future Trinomic Slipstream Lite che con il suo mix di materiali ben si adatta al mood divertente di tutto l’outfit!

English We produce and consume objects in series too equal to each other. So, in recent years, everyone comes back to “hot” objects as the handmade products. The birth of the Internet and e-shop allowed these small businesses to cultivate direct contact with the public, increasing its size! For example DaWanda is an online marketplace dedicated to hand-made products, created by talented designers and DIY artists, that can be customized to suit your taste. Inside, you can find unique items: from clothing to accessories, through bags, jewelry, home decor and children’s toys.

In the Man section I discovered BartekDesign, the e-shop of a Dutch boy who realizes bow ties using fabrics really original. The one I wear in this outfit post, for example, consists of a light background and a pattern of orange fox illustrated in a boyish style. Really funny! To give greater prominence to the bow, I decided to use a denim shirt by Zara, trousers with braces in Scottish tartan blue-green by SPARKS and the colourful Puma Future Trinomic Slipstream Lite that, with its mix of materials, is well suited to the fun mood of the whole outfit!
