High Five Friday {Stitch Fix #3}

Happy Friday!

I’m changing it up a little bit this week. Rather than share my 5 fav photos from Instagram and 5 Links, I’m sharing my latest Stitch Fix. Five pieces of clothing deserves a high 5, right? Especially since I had really good luck with this one.

If you aren’t familiar with Stitch Fix, here’s the scoop:

Basically, it’s an online styling service. You create an online profile with your likes and leave it up to the stylists to pick out items. Based from this information, they send you 5 articles of clothing that get delivered right to your door. You can chose to have it delivered as little or often as you like.

It’s $20 a fix, but as long as you keep one item you can apply that toward the price. So you only lose money if you don’t keep a single thing (and you get a 25% discount if you keep it all!).

Then from there, you can try everything on and figure out what you want to save and what you want to keep. A prepaid USPS envelope is included for easy returns for items you don’t keep.

Here’s what I got in Stitch Fix #3:

  • 41 Hawthorn Lizzy Colorblock Striped Sweater – Completely me. I have a serious problem when it comes to stripes. KEEP!
  • Pixley Edmond Chevron Print Henley Shirt – This shirt is super soft and comfy. My son kept on wanting to rub my arms or back when I was trying it on. KEEP!
  • Hem & Thread Harlen Zip Detail Poncho – At first I was like, “A poncho?” Totally not my thing. But then I tried it on. It was so comfy and warm. I really like the hood and 1/2 zip detail. KEEP!
  • Octavia Dean Diamond Stitch Knit Infinity Scarf – Another item I wasn’t sure about. I love scarves but the fringe made me think it looked like an afghan. But it was love at first loop. I was so cold before I put it on and instantly warmed up. KEEP!

The last piece was Kut From the Kloth Giuliana Bootcut Jeans in Navy. Cute jeans but I was sent a navy skinny jean in my last fix. They fit great so I decided to keep them just because of the 25% discount in buying all 5 items. I couldn’t get a really great pic of them. Just picture cute navy jeans, k?

After my last two fixes during the spring/summer, I wasn’t really happy with what I received. So I took a 4 month break. My stylist really got me this time around. I kept 5/5 pieces. Cute clothes that fit great and I didn’t have to go to the mall at all?

Stitch Fix made my day.
