an evening at knoebels

Knoebels Grove has always been one of our favorite places to go. We’ve spent so many summer days and evenings there over our seventeen years together. We’ve gone as a family of three since 2012 but this was the first year that Isley could get on a few rides all by herself. Shayne and I were ridiculously happy and totally geeking out watching our little gal go round and round on every car ride she could find.

Aside from the car rides, we rode the kiddie carousel (only a horse that stays still will do for now), watched a concert and took our photobooth pictures. The photobooth at Knoebels has been a tradition for us since I was sixteen and we have quite the collection at this point. I’m planning on scanning all of the photo strips soon and will have to share here.

We’d like to visit at least one more time before Summer comes to an end and during the fun Halloween festivities. I think Grammy will tag along next time so that Shayne and I can ride a few of our favorite rides like old times. See you soon Knoebels!
