Dior Addict It Lash Mascara Review

When I picked up the new Diorskin Star Foundation I also left with the new Dior Addict It Lash Mascara as I am a shameless consumer. This mascara promises volume, length and intensive colour, everything you could want really.

The Packaging
The packaging is black and luxurious, it's sturdy and I like that it's packaging is square as it doesn't roll around in your storage or dressing table. The packaging is quite chubby, and takes up more space in your makeup bag than a regular mascara, but it's not heavy so I don't really see that as a downside.
The Mascara
I think the wand is the most important part of a mascara, this wand separates all of my tiny lashes out and creates a smooth and clump free effect, my lashes look volumised because it gets to even the shortest hairs without smudging along the lashline and really combs them out.
The formulation is really pigmented. As all mascara lovers know there is black and then there is blackest black, this is the latter and it really is very impressive and extremely pigmented. The formulation isn't too thick so it can easily be layered and each layer dries quickly. Bottom lashes are also easy to define with this brush and again, they don't clump. The mascara doesn't smudge at all during the day on the lashline or under the eye.
The Results

I have tiny, blonde, wimpy eyelashes, so for me the above picture is actually a massive improvement. Without mascara my lashes are completely invisible as they are blonde. I am sure if you have normal eyelashes the effects would be far greater!
Overall
Overall the only thing I dislike about this mascara is the difficulty to remove it, despite the claims that it is water soluble I certainly didn't find it so and even after double cleansing, using my Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm and rubbing my lashes with a cotton bud it hadn't all been removed. This is a great mascara for volume, separation, no clumping and dark pigmentation. Overall I would repurchase as the difficulty to remove it is balanced by it being a fab mascara.
RRP is approximately £22.00
