Eucalyptus at Home

For the past year or so i’ve tried to make sure we’ve always got a bunch of eucalyptus going – because i tend to kill green things, i love that if the water dries up, then it won’t look like old black thumb over here has forgotten to put water in the vase, it was planned that way – a ha, cunning don’t you think? Since news has been filtering my way that dried plants are going to be big, i’m definitely going to pop to our local flower sellers (or our local Pick n Pay for that matter) to get some more. Eucalyptus is cheap, it’s prolific, it’s the wedding decoration du jour and it smells fab. It also plays well with softer flowers. Oh, and tie some up in your shower and the steam will release some of its many and varied healthy properties. It’s a win win people.
