Help! I May Have A Sweatshirt Problem...

Time for another instalment of my slightly abandoned obsessions series. This time around, the humble sweatshirt is getting the treatment. Goodness knows what I was wearing on my top half before then, instead of the favoured cardigan and tee combo of the Noughties, I finally came around to a simpler style of dressing around four years ago and bought my first A.P.C sweatshirt in the Net A Porter sale. Now I don't know where I'd be without them, they do the job of knitwear but are a helluva lot easier to wash plus they are the perfect contrast for anything dressy. Have you converted to the sweat yet?

It's hard to put a a finger on my 'type'. I'm partial to bold logos but also more subtle brand markings, sometimes even none at all if the design's right. It's funny to think that before sportswear got reappropriated, I would have viewed some of these with a bemused look. Who else went through the Kappa tracksuit phase as a child? Eventually I saw sense and vowed to never display anything quite so obvious again. Now things go a little deeper, I'm looking for hints of nostalgia, Americana and some awesome appliqué. I wear them with skirts, over dresses and jeans when I'm slobbing about at home, waiting for my onesie to dry. Expect to see me incorporating a lot of these into my outfits until it's t-shirt weather again, I can't wait!
Please don't make me buy these:
// !function(d,s,id){var e, p = /^http:/.test(d.location) ? 'http' : 'https';if(!d.getElementById(id)) {e = d.createElement(s);e.id = id;e.src = p '://' 'widgets.rewardstyle.com' '/js/shopthepost.js';d.body.appendChild(e);}if(typeof window.__stp === 'object') if(d.readyState === 'complete') {window.__stp.init();}}(document, 'script', 'shopthepost-script'); //
