080 Barcelona Fashion FW 2015- 2016 (I)

¡Hola! Como ya dije en el post anterior, hoy viene la primera entrega de los desfiles a los que asistí en la 080 Barcelona Fashion. Empezamos con Escorpion, Aldomartins, Celia Vela y Krizia Robustella.

Hello! As I said on my last post, today I'm going to write about some fashion shows I attended at the 080 Barcelona Fashion. I'm going to start with Escorpion, Aldomartins, Celia Vela and Krizia Robustella.

ESCORPION

Quiero empezar con Escorpion porque fue el desfile más especial para mí: el equipo de la marca me dio la oportunidad de disfrutarlo desde el front-row y asistir con ellos al photocall. ¡Fue una experiencia única e increíble! Para el próximo invierno, crearon la colección "Interludios", inspirada en la ajetreada vida de una artista que reside en la gran ciudad, y que necesita tomarse un descanso, un interludio para encontrarse a si misma. Se refugia en una casa cerca del mar, donde puede reflexionar y encaminar su nueva vida. La colección está dividida en tres actos: el primero muestra prendas femeninas, volúmenes y pantalones de estilo masculino en tonos férreos con matices cálidos y rosados; en el segundo, inspirado en el mar, vemos prendas de rayas, cuadros y ochos en colores que nos recuerdan a la naturaleza; y el último está compuesta por maxi jerseys y prendas anchas en materiales gruesos que reflejan la calidez. Los estilismos los ideó Jaume Vidiella, quien fue mi profesor hace unos años. Me pareció una colección preciosa y muy ponible, que demuestra que una marca puede renovarse sin perder su esencia. Quiero agradecerles a Sybille, Victoria y Jordi que me dejaran vivir ese momento desde tan cerca.
I want to start with Escorpion because it was the most special show for me: the team invited me to enjoy the show from the front-row and go to the photocall with them. And it was an amazing experience! For the next winter, they created the collection "Interludios" inspired by the busy life of an artist who lives in a big city and needs to take a break to find herself. She takes refuge at a house by the sea, where she can think and start her new life. The collection is divided in three acts: the first one shows femenine garments, with volume and masculine pants with iron tones with warm shades; the second act is inspired by the sea, and there are striped, plaid and knit pieces in colors that rembember the nature; and the last one is composed by maxi sweaters and wide garments in thick materials that reflect warmth. The stylist was Jaume Vidiella, he was my teacher some years ago. It was a beautiful and wearable collection that proves that a classic brand can be renewed without losing its essence. I want to thank Sybille, Victoria and Jordi, it wa wonderful to live this special moment with them.
ALDOMARTINS

Núria Bisbal consiguió que me sumergiera en esta colección y soñara con un viaje a la nieve. Estampados étnicos y jacquards en prendas de estilo après-ski, superposición de prendas, ponchos y originales bufandas con una manga (¡necesito una ya!) son los protagonistas del invierno de Aldomartins. Un estilo rústico y atemporal que aporta alegría y vitalidad para combatir el frío.
I was totally immerse in this collection created by Núria Bisbal, and just dreamed about a snow trip. Ethnic and jacquard prints on après-ski style pieces, superposition and layers, ponchos and original scarves with a sleeve -I need one right now!!- are the key of Aldomartins' next winter. A rustic and timeless style that brings happiness and vitality to fight against the cold.
CELIA VELA

Para crear la colección Otoño-Invierno 2015/2016, Celia Vela se inspiró en una historia de amor de una pareja de amigos: él de Barcelona y ella de Japón, para el cumpleaños del protagonista, ella le regaló un chaleco hecho a partir del kimono de boda del padre de la chica y se hizo un vestido a si misma transformando el kimono de su madre. Celia presentó una colección sofisticada y sensual, en la que predominan los tonos oscuros, con deconstrucción de prendas y looks románticos de estética oriental. Shorts, miniviestidos y faldas largas para ella y pantalones baggy y capuchas para él.
Después del desfile, inauguró la exposición "Fils de Complicitats" ("Hilos de Complicidad") junto a la artista Begoña Ramos, una colección de cuadros creados a cuatro manos que recrean el universo estético de la diseñadora.
To create the Fall-Winter 2015/2016 collection, Celia Vela was inspired by a love story of two of her friends: he is from Barcelona and she is from Japan, on his birthday she gave an special present to him: a vest made by her father's wedding kimono and she made a dress for herself using her mother's wedding kimono. Celia presented a sophisticated and sensual collection, in dark tones, with decontructions of pieces and romantic looks with an oriental ahestetic. Shorts, minidresses and maxi skirts for her and baggy pants and hoods for him.
After the show, Celia inaugurated the exhibition "Fils de Complicitat" - Threads of Complicity- with the artist Begoña Ramos. It is a collection of paintings that shows the ahestetic universe of he designer.
KRIZIA ROBUSTELLA

Krizia Robustella siempre pone ese toque original, divertido y llamativo en la 080 Barcelona Fashion. Para el próximo invierno se inspiró en los Osos Amorosos, presentando una colección que nos trasladó a nuestra infancia. Una propuesta alegre y tierna en colores pastel, estampados XXL, prendas oversize, acolchados, neopreno y accesorios llamativos (gorras con cara de oso, mochilas con pelo y calcetines estampados) muy fiel a su estilo deportivo.
Krizia Robustella always adds an original, fun and flashy touch to the 080 Barcelona Fashion. For the next winter, she was inspired by the Care Bears, showing a collection wherewith we go back to childhood. It was a cheerful and tender collection with pastel colors, XXL prints, oversize pieces, padding and neoprene materials and flashy accessories -caps with bear faces, fluffy bagpacks and printed socks- and true to her sporting style.
